WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
What is Boudoir Photography?
Boudoir means "bedroom" in French. Boudoir photography is intimate, flirty and romantic. But it can also be filled with passion, sensuality and fun! But most of all, it is empowering if done right! Our boudoir philosophy is revolves around taking all of these things, and pulling out of your personality to create images that allow you to exude sexy...and not necessarily in the bedroom.
How do I schedule a Boudoir Session?
You can book a Boudoir Session by contacting mnyself, via call or text at 306-717-9570 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. At this point we can decide what option suits you best, and set a date. To finalize your booking, I will require a minimum retainer of 50% of your chosen session and a signed contract. Retainers are non-refundable, although, wedo have a transfer policy (please ask for full details). The remainder of your session fee is due the day of your session.
Where are you located, and do I have to have my session done in studio?
TigressArts Studios is nestled in the of beautiful Saskatoon, SK.
Can I have a drink before and during my shoot? What about marijuana?
Due to all of the changes to laws pertaining to cunsumption of liquor and other legalized substances, I have put a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY into place! Thus no forms of alcohol or marijuana are allowed during a session, on site at the studio.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! I want your session to be as comfortable for you as possible, as that is makes the pictures turn out best. I do request that it is limited to one additional person over the age of 18, and they may be required to wait in the sitting area of the studio.
What should I expect during my session?
It is very common to start out feeling a little nervous. And that is totally normal! You will be raving about how much fun you have had, by the end, I promise! Unless your package includes a make-up artist, or you bring a friend, it will be just you and I! When you arrive, I will take some time to show you what I like to shoot, and discussing options. If your make-up is being done, it will also happen during this time. I will also show you some of my fabulous products and sample albums/photo books you have the option to purchase...the sky is the limit! We can then have a look at what you have brought to wear and accessorize, and add to it from my "tickle trunk" as needed. Your entire session will take about 2 to 4 hours, depending on your package.
What else should I bring to my Boudoir Session?
I have silk wraps and scarves, feather boas, some jewelry and a few props, but I really encourage you to bring wardrobe and props that make your session uniquely you. Some ideas include:
How long will it take to get my photos?
Your Boudoir (and Glam) photos will be available for preview within a week of your shoot. At this time we can go over collections and print packages, pricing, and any other questions you may have. Once chosen, images are typically recieved within 6 weeks of full payment, but can be a bit longer during peak seasons. If you have soley chosen digital files, they should be ready for you within 3-4 weeks. All orders must be paid in full before receipt. Payment plans are available for your convenience.
Will you be using my photos on your website or FB page?
Depending on the terms of your session, you may be required to sign a Model Release as part of your contract prior to your shoot. However, images for promotional use may have distinguishing marks, faves, etc. removed at your request prior to use, and they will be a lower resolution watermarked image.
What is your cancellation policy?
At the time of booking, you will be required to provide a minimum 50% retainer which will be applied to your session fee. Model Call sessions will also be suject to this retainer, which can be put towards ant product purchase or will be refunded if no purchase is made.
What do I wear for my shoot?
You can wear whatever makes you feel sensual, sexy, or just downright seductive! I really encourage my clients to wear, and bring things that reflect on them. But we can go over this pre-shoot. I just want you to be comfortable...whether it means you are totally clothed, or in nothing at all! Just be you!
